Greg Shipley
CTO, Neohapsis, Inc.

Greg is the Chief Technology Officer for the Chicago-based information security consultancy, Neohapsis. Greg grew up in the information security trenches, starting off as a system administrator, rising through the ranks of network administration, and eventually taking the plunge into the world of consulting. Since his earlier days, Greg has long been active as an information security practitioner, beginning as a penetration tester and working his way up to in-depth product evaluation and security program management. Today, Greg is an acknowledged author, a contributing editor for Network Computing magazine, a frequent speaker at conferences such as Networld Interop, E-Business Expo, and SANS, and an active contributor to community driven security efforts.

When Greg isn't leading security projects he is actively testing and breaking firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability assessment tools in the Network Computing/Neohapsis Chicago test-lab.
